Disney World
Within the first two hours of my day I had the
opportunity to visit 11 Countries. Mexico, Norway, China, Germany, Italy,
United States, Japan, Morocco, France, United Kingdom, And Canada. Each country
had a unique smells and sound while walking through it. United Kingdom smelled
like fish and chips while the United States smells like funnel cakes. The
Drumming in Morocco filled the street and made you want to dance. The views
were gorgeous and breathtaking in each country. The time zone and weather was
the exact same in Mexico, Norway, China, Germany, Italy, Untied States, Japan,
Morocco, France, United Kingdom, and Canada. This was because I was walking in
a circle. Thousands of people a day walk in this same circle visiting the
wildly different countries in Epcot’s World Showcase in Walt Disney world
Walt Disney World has four parks
located in Orlando Florida. Epcot, the Magic Kingdom, Hollywood Studios, and the
Animal Kingdom. Each park has a unique experience you will not be able to find
anywhere else. People travel from all over the world to experience Walt Disney
World and all it has to offer. Walt Disney World is a place for families to
come together and enjoy being kids again. Families have been making memories in
Walt Disney World for 46 years now with no end in sight. (Walt Disney World History)
When planning a visit to Epcot’s
world showcase in Walt Disney World be prepared for a long day. I would
recommend packing good walking shoes. If you were to spend all day in Epcot,
you would be there from 9am-9pm. This makes for a long 12-hour day with about
95% of that time being on your feet. I would say good walking shoes are
essential. The second thing I would recommend you pack for your day in Epcot is
water. A single water bottle averages around $4 in all four Walt Disney World
parks. By packing your own you can refill them by the water fountain and save
you some money. The Next I would recommend packing would be some snacks,
especially if you are traveling with kids. When you book your vacation to
Disney World you are already expecting to spend a good chunk of money. But are
you prepared to spend $5 on an orange and $3 on one banana? By packing a few
snacks you can skip the lines and stay clear of paying $5 for an orange. My
last recommendation for your day in Walt Disney World is to put on some sunscreen.
Florida is known as the sunshine state, take this seriously. I learned that the
hard way with a sun burn in the middle of February. There are a ton of tips and
tricks to help you save money while in Disney World. I would have to say these
four are the most important, Good shoes, water, snacks, and sunscreen.
Epcot’s world showcase is a great part
of Walt Disney World to “adult” in. Adults can drink “around the world” while
trying new food. The food choices were out of this world amazing. Being able to
eat food from 11 different countries is something you can only experience in
Walt Disney World. However, Epcot has the least amount of amusement park rides
out of the four Walt Disney World parks, yet I bet you will not even notice.
Between the food, music, street entertainment, and shows in all the 11
different countries you will not miss the amusement park rides. In the evening
before Epcot closes for the night they have a night time spectacular show. This
show includes lasers, music, fire, and huge fireworks. Epcot’s night time
spectacular show is a great way to end your amazing day at Epcot.
If
you plan to head to Orlando and visit Disney World with your family I would
recommend the Magic Kingdom. The Magic kingdom is hands down the most magical
place on earth. It offers a wide verity of rides, shows, and food for the
family. The evening show is a magical sight of beautiful fireworks behind Cinderella’s
castle. The downside to Magic Kingdom is the price, it is the most expensive
Disney park costing $107 per person per day with $20 parking. It also tends to
be the most crowded since it offers a wide range of attractions for the family.
On an average day for the Magic Kingdom in Walt Disney World, the park can have
over 56,000 visitors per day. That is a lot of people in one park. This makes
the Magic Kingdom one of the top most visited theme parks in the world and Walt
Disney World’s most popular park. (Reikofski) .
If you plan on going to Walt Disney World
without kids I would recommend Epcot’s world showcase. They have special events
for adults to drink and dine around the world, letting you try food from each
country with a decent price so you do not break the bank. Epcot offers live
music and entertainment around the 11 countries that makes for a perfect
evening stroll “around the world”. Epcot’s world showcase has the least amount
of ride attractions and character meeting spots making it less appealing to families
with small kids, so if you goal is to have a vacation without 50,000 kids Epcot
is the place for you. A day ticket to Epcot’s world showcase is $97 per person
with $20 parking. This mean Epcot’s world showcase is one of the cheaper Walt
Disney World parks.
After visiting all four Walt Disney World
parks I would recommend visiting all four if you had the opportunity. Each one
has its own unique styles, rides, foods, and entertainment. If you were to
choose just one Walt Disney World park I would say check out Epcot’s world
showcase. It will give you the perfect Disney experience without 56,000 people
next to you. When traveling to Walt Disney World be prepared for a long,
magical, special, fun day with lots of walking and tired feet.
